How can we help?
Email admin@oddlyserious.company. Say what you expected, what happened instead, and your Chrome version. We never need your X password or login, so please don’t send them.
Questions about the product itself are answered in the FAQ, and how your data is handled in the privacy policy.
No posts appear in the dashboard
Open x.com while signed in and click the Postcurve toolbar button. It should say Collecting for your handle; if not, choose Enable analytics. Then open your own profile (x.com/yourhandle) and scroll a little. Your posts appear within seconds. Postcurve only reads your own posts, and only on x.com.
Some counts show as unknown
Postcurve stores a number only when X shows it exactly. A rounded count such as 1.2K is kept as unknown rather than guessed, so your history never holds an approximation.
The popup says there’s a problem reading X
X changes its pages from time to time. When Postcurve can’t read them reliably, it skips what it can’t read rather than storing wrong numbers, and says so in the popup. The history you already have is kept. Email us; an update usually fixes it.
Some posts say “may be a reply”
X’s pages don’t mark replies reliably, so Postcurve counts a post as an original once it has seen it on your profile’s Posts tab. Open x.com/yourhandle and scroll, or import your X archive in Settings, which marks replies exactly.
Notifications don’t show up
In the dashboard’s Settings, choose Turn on notifications and allow them when Chrome asks. If they still don’t appear, check that your computer’s notification settings allow Chrome.
Using another computer or browser
Your history lives only in the browser where you collected it and doesn’t sync. You can export everything from Settings at any time. In a new browser, import your X archive to fill in your older posts.
Deleting everything
In the dashboard’s Settings, choose Delete all data. Removing the extension from Chrome also deletes everything it stored.
